The rebranding effort reflects the company’s focus on digital marketing and website design services
BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MICHIGAN – SugarBush, Inc., a Metro Detroit inbound marketing agency, today announced that the company will begin operating under the name Inbound 281, effective immediately.
The company also unveiled new branding and identity themes, as well as a redesigned website, www.inbound281.com. Company ownership and staff have not changed.
The name change represents the company’s commitment to leveraging evolving technology and industry practices to provide beneficial digital marketing and website design services to clients. The new name also reflects the company’s use of inbound marketing approaches to develop and deliver client communications.
“We believe the Inbound 281 name more clearly represents the high-quality services and dedication we provide our customers,” said Mark Parent, president of Inbound 281. “As SugarBush continued to evolve in order to meet changing trends and customer needs – which ultimately led us to begin specializing in inbound marketing services almost 10 years ago – we felt we needed a brand that truly reflected our vision, goals, and identity.”
Inbound marketing refers to marketing activities that are designed to earn audience members’ attention by distributing relevant content through channels they prefer to use, such as blogs, podcasts, videos, eBooks, newsletters, search engine optimization (SEO), and social media marketing.
These practices differ from traditional approaches like direct mail, TV and radio advertisements, spam emails, and telemarketing, where interruptive messages are delivered to mass audiences that may or may not be receptive. Inbound is also designed to allow marketers to use technology and analysis to create more personalized messages and more easily measure results.
“We’ve been able to work with some remarkable clients and create some great work over the years, and in no way will that change with a new name,” Parent said. “If anything, it will give our clients a better understanding of what we do and allow us to form strong partnerships with organizations looking for improvements in their marketing, sales, and website design.”
Parent founded SugarBush, Inc. in 1985 as a graphic communications company based in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The company worked with clients in a number of diverse industries, including automotive, manufacturing, business-to-business services, higher education, and nonprofit.
Inbound 281 is based in Bloomfield Hills and will continue to serve current clients of SugarBush, Inc., as the company also looks to add new customers across Metro Detroit.
